Azaleas are fantastic flowering shrubs native to Asia, Europe and North America. With such beautiful displays, there is no wonder plant enthusiasts have created over 10,000 cultivars that can be used en masse to brighten up your garden.

Plant Azaleas under Japanese Maples or with other acidic loving plants like Camellias, Rhododendrons or Daphne. Commonly found in white, red, mauve and varying shades of pink, these plants provide stunning splashes of colour that will make your garden the envy of all your neighbours!

Sun tolerant varieties are now readily available for planting in East and North facing positions, no longer confining these colourful shrubs to the shade. Popular sun tolerant performers are the Azalea alba magnifica and Azalea 'Alphonse Anderson' producing massive blooms.

In East or South facing gardens, consider using some of the beautiful shade loving Azaleas. Impressive and bright double flowering blooms make Azalea 'Charlie'  and 'Flamingo' excellent choices, although one can never pass on a classic white as pure as 'Aline.'

Speak to our friendly, qualified horticulturalists about our new compact Azalea varieties like 'White Dragon' and 'Scarlet Dragon' that only grow to 75cm and create lovely flowering borders. We can also recommend the best Azalea fertilizers and show you how to get rid of the infamous lace bug without laying a hand on a spray!

Please note that plants are often subject to seasonal availability and growers' stocking levels.
