Coriander

Coriandrum sativum

Size:
Height to 60cm

Position:
Full - part sun

Seed:
Sow in Spring - Autumn

Care:
An annual plant that grows better in cooler months as it is less likely to "bolt to seed," giving you more leafy growth.  Plant in well drained soil incorporated with compost or into quality potting mix if  planting in a pot. For best results, feed with a liquid fertiliser (like 'Powerfeed') once every 7-10 days. If using leaves only, tip prune regularly to discourage flowering and
seed production.

Uses:
Culinary. All parts of this plant are edible.  Leaves are commonly used in Vietnamese or Thai dishes. Dried seeds are also used ground up in curries (also see Vietnamese mint).

Available sizes:
Punnets from
10cm pots
14cm pots
20cm pots

Please note that plants are often subject to seasonal availability and growers' stocking levels.
