Perennial basil tastes similar to sweet basil, just with an added light cinnamon flavour.

Seed:
Plant in Spring to Summer

Care:

PWill tolerate light frosts although it  is recommended to protect plants from heavier frosts. Prune in late Summer. For best results, feed with a liquid fertiliser (like 'Powerfeed') once every 7-10 days. If planting basil in the ground, incorporate compost into the soil. If planting in a pot, be sure to use good quality potting mix.

Uses:

Culinary. Excellent with pasta and pesto sauces. Flavour combines well with tomato and garlic.
